綠帽開除GM David Forst

The Athletics have fired general manager David Forst, per Ken Rosenthal and Charlotte Varnes of The Athletic. The club announced it as a mutually parting of ways. Assistant general manager Dan Feinstein has been named interim general manager and the club says they will begin searching for a new GM.

Forst has been with the A’s for years and years. He was hired as a scout in 2000 and became assistant general manager in 2004, working under general manager Billy Beane. Beane got the GM job in 1997. Both Beane and Forst were promoted in 2015, with Beane getting the title executive vice president of baseball operations. Forst became the GM but still working under Beane.

今年綠帽戰績不佳，前陣子才開除投手教練，今天換GM David Forst被開除，會換Dan Feinstein來接任。David Forst在綠帽待超久，之前還在Beane旗下工作，但今年滿異常的，綠帽戰績爛成這樣，交易截止日完全沒什麼動作，特別是Shea Langeliers受傷報銷後，綠帽慘烈的戰績都忘記要當賣家。上次打季後賽已經是縮水球季的2020年，新的GM接下來還要想辦法讓Kurtz續約。
