In 2014, I was the one who put Pablo Sandoval's name in the room in Boston. Ou r model had him at around $45 M.
Then the bidding started. I stepped off and told the room it was out of contro l.
They went $20 M past me. Five years,
$95 M.
Our $45 M wasn't even right. He was worth less than that.
