— Dalton Rushing’s arm flared up on him during pregame throwing. He’s going f or imaging. IL is possible depending on how that comes back

Things have changed on that front. Though the Dodgers would prefer to keep Ohtan i active and available, his health concerns have forced the organization to make a decision. Should the Dodgers place Ohtani on the IL, it must be the 15-day IL, per his status as a two-way player. What the organization is weighing is wheth er it would be more feasible to lose Ohtani for two weeks or play short-handed f or a few more games if it means keeping Ohtani active and available.
