CONMEBOL president Alejandro Domiguez has announced that the 2030 FIFA World Cup will have 64 participating teams, not 48.
He also adds that the kickoff of the tournament will be in Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay in commemoration of the World Cup's centennial, after which it will move to the main venues in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco.
