As reported by Motorsport.com, sources indicated that a September date had been agreed for when he would be allowed to go public with what he was doing– which then would leave a six-month window before he could officially start work.

Ferrari 領隊 Vasseur 原本獲得足夠預算簽下Adrian Newey，希望他成為車隊顧問

加入車隊，並允許他在英國辦公，不需要搬到義大利。

但 Aston Martin 開出了 Ferrari 無法匹配的報價讓Newey無法拒絕理由，據了解是

3 年 1 億美元，再根據成績發放額外的獎金，法拉利就此放棄。

相比這種價格戰，Ferrari 更專注於搭建自己的團隊架構，Vasseur 即將宣布車隊新技術

團隊架構，其中包括從 Mercedes 加盟的Loic Serra。
