(7) @BryanHoch: Did you know: in 1974, the Yankees considered modifying their classic road uniforms, according to then-PR director Marty Appel. The tops would have been navy blue with white pinstripes. GM Gabe Paul was said to like the idea, and samples were even created. Of course, it didn't happen.
